The EFK Fire Dragon Ported Barrels EFK exercises extreme care and excellence in manufacturing and have an unwillingness to compromise on any step of the process. EFK Fire Dragon uses the finest material available (Type 416 Stainless Steel). Machining processes are accomplished on CNC equipment for close-tolerance production. Heat treating is done in a vacuum furnace for clean, consistent hardness of 43-45Rc. Barrels are bored and rifled using an ECM process (electro chemical machining). This process produces greater accuracy (+/- 50 millionths of an inch) and a superior finish (16 RMS or better). It also creates less stress than button or broach cutting which results in a more accurate barrel with greater durability. The end result is a good-looking, top-quality barrel with consistent, accurate and long-lasting performance.

• Drop In Fit: Direct replacement for your factory barrel. No modifications required. The Ported Barrel is slightly longer than your standard pistol barrel to allow for the exhaust gases to exit the ports out in front of your weapon.

• What we mean by conversion: These barrels replace your existing pistol barrel and allow you to shoot a more readily available or less expensive ammunition (like 9mm) in your weapon.

EFK Fire Dragon has been making these conversion barrels for over 15 years and they work great.

EFK figured out that they could take a 40/357 sig barrel and bore it to 9mm I.D. [inside dimensions] and it would perform flawlessly. The 9mm magazines fit the 40/357 frame and the firing pin and ejectors/extractors work just fine as well.

So by just changing out the barrel [magazines in 9mm] you can convert your .40 S&W to shoot .357 SIG and 9mm ammo. So then you have the capabilities to shoot 3 different calibers out of the same pistol.

The advantages of the 9mm conversion are slightly cheaper ammo, save money on the purchase of a new pistol, less recoil, practicing with the same weapon and higher magazine capacity with the 9mm magazines.

NOTE: When converting to 9mm from .40 S&W/.357 SIG you will need to purchase 9mm magazines for your pistol. Yes, the magazines will fit! Many manufacturers use the same size frame for these models!

NOTE: When converting to .400 Cor-Bon from .45 ACP your standard .45 ACP magazines will work!

NOTE: When converting to .357 SIG from .40 S&W your standard .40 S&W magazines will work!
